Exclusions:

When manufacturers offer price match policies, they have some exclusions. Neiman Marcus also has some exclusions that you should learn about to request a price match.

But like many things, there are no exclusions written on their website, so I contacted their customer service to confirm if they have any exclusions.

Here is what they replied:

“We do not price match clearance items or beauty items”

So it looks like they do not have many exclusions like other manufacturers and retailers. But these were a few which they told.

Price Adjustment Process:

Neiman Marcus offers a price match policy. So if you purchase an item from them and later within 10 days the item has a lower price because of a sale at Neiman Marcus or their competitor, you can request a price adjustment, and they will refund you the difference.

  • If it is eligible for a price adjustment, Neiman Marcus will adjust the price and refund you the price difference.

Neiman Marcus Price Matching Competitors List:

Any manufacturer who offers a price match usually has the price matching competitors list. Unfortunately, Neiman Marcus doesn’t have a price-matching competitor list. So I contacted their customer service to confirm this from them.

Here is what they replied:

“You may contact us via chat, email, or phone call to price match your order. The order must be placed. Regrettably, we are unable to provide the list of the price match competitors. You may contact us to verify if the price match is applicable.”

So by reading this reply, you will know that there are no specific competitors at Neiman Marcus to price match with. But you would have to contact their customer service to confirm if they can price match the competitor.

  1. I will never shop at Neiman Marcus again.
After buying an evening gown for my daughter’s wedding and making 6 trips back and forth for alterations, my dress was ruined. Yes, I had to wear it to the wedding that was 2 wk away! what was I to do. Photos show how it hangs low off one shoulder and high off the other.
Yes, I got a refund on the $160 alteration fee. It would have been a min charge if the first tailor didnt take the whole thing apart and just tightened a strap meant to that purpose. His mistakes pulled the dress up an inch making it very uncomfortable. I have complained to customer service and got $100! Whoopee.
The 4rth tailor spoke to me in Russian and accused me of being a Russian! I am Ukrainian. You can imagine how insensitive that was.
My son gets married in December. No way I am going to shop at NM and I have advised my friends of the same. They were shocked that I was not treated better.
